Jeremy, Caroline and the staff welcome you to the newly re-decorated internet home of The Constitution. A true oasis in a sea of plastic bars; we are a traditional English pub dating back to the early part of the 19th Century.
As well as offering a great range of wines, beers and spirits, we also have a fantastic selection of no nonesense food, including vegetarian dishes.
London attracts tens of thousands of tourists each year and many of them stay in or around the Victoria / Pimlico area. A good number of those visitors have stumbled upon the jewel in the crown of Pimlico that is The Constitution.
Experiencing a real English pub, is high on the list of to do’s for many visitors to London, and you would be hard pressed to find a better place to start than The Constitution. Many people find us by word of mouth, and our reputation is growing.
People like Maladrin from Tampa who wrote:
‘. . . after 30+ hours of traveling . . . we really wanted a fairly quiet neighborhood pub that we could crawl home to if necessary.
We found the Pimlico locals and the bar staff to be extraordinarily friendly to us. The pints were, I am pretty certain, under 3 pounds for Young’s Bitter, which we drank exclusively.
For the rest of our trip, no matter where we went and what we did, we managed to stop at The Constitution for a nightcap . . . we’d make a point to come back here. What a great neighborhood pub. We really liked Pimlico overall.’
And Bijoux F from Santa Barbara who wrote…
‘…In love with this place. For the drinks, for the people and especially the eclectic crowd that drink there…’
And Luda, who wrote…
‘…love this place – a proper old fashioned pub, and a welcome change from all the other identikit pubs taking over London at a scary speed…’
So, as you take time out from whatever it is you were doing before you arrived here at our internet home, why not rest a while and browse our pages? Better still, whether you are local to Pimlico or a visitor to the area wanting to escape the traditional tourist traps, call in, unwind and meet the locals.
