Jeremy, Caroline and the team welcome you to the internet home of The Constitution. A true oasis in a sea of plastic bars; we are a traditional English pub dating back to the early part of the 19th Century.

As well as offering a great range of wines, beers and spirits, we also have a fantastic selection of no nonesense food, including vegetarian dishes.

London attracts tens of thousands of tourists each year and many of them stay in or around the Victoria / Pimlico area. A good number of those visitors have stumbled upon the jewel in the crown of Pimlico that is The Constitution.

My favourite pub in Pimlico  …  The Constitution is a welcoming, traditional one room pub with good beers, friendly and down to earth staff and a mixed and interesting clientele.
The kind of place where, once you have entered, you don’t want to move on from there.

…We loved this place! My wife and I stayed  just around the corner, and they recommended we hit The Constitution for pints. They had a great Young’s Bitter on hand-pull, and the place was full of friendly neighborhood-types and great barttenders.

They had picnic tables with heat lamps over them, which made sitting outside in January lovely. If you’re staying in Pimlico, this neighborhood place is the spot for a quiet night, a nightcap or good neighborhood conversation….

…My wife and I popped in for a quick bite and drink on the way back to our hotel. Pub was busy, but friendly. A group of ladies where dining, someone’s birthday. Almost everyone knew them and stop to say hi. The service was good from the bar. A group of men at the bar made way for me to order our drinks and food. One even told me the beer I was going to order wasn’t to good today and try this one. I loved it. Food was good for a pub. They have an upstairs dinning room, if it’s to busy in the pub. Like a real English pub, dogs are welcome here.

So, as you take time out from whatever it is you were doing before you arrived here at our internet home, why not rest a while and browse our pages? Better still, whether you are local to Pimlico or a visitor to the area wanting to escape the traditional tourist traps, call in, unwind and meet the locals.
